Not only rocks my baby but it ROCKS MY WORLD

All hale the mighty swing! I finally got the swing from my mom's house yesterday and it's a Godsend. J loves it, I love it and most importantly I have 2 free hands!!! I don't want to use it as a scapegoat though, always throwing him in there but it's nice to know he's content when he does get his swing time.

And now for a rant...

All I have to say is if I'm going to be suckered into paying $20 for a onsie that our son will probably only get to wear onsie time - despite saying it'll fit 0 to 6 months - make sure the fucking snaps actually snap AND STAY SNAPPED! Poor boy, 2 of the crotch snaps kept coming undone so it looked like he was wearing a thong the whole day.

Dang! $20 for a onesie?! I'm certain I've never paid that much for a piece of clothing for myself much less a tiny little child. But that is just my cheap ass talking. :D

I'm glad he likes the swing. My kids all had one but it got minimal use. Then when they got to be about 4 months old they'd reach out and grab the bar and stop themselves, lol. I'm so happy to hear that you found something that works for you though! Liberating!

YAY for the swing!
We ended up buying a travel swing since our house is 3 stories and it was worth EVERY penny!
Ryan would only nap in there (or with me) for many weeks, and we used to pull it up to the table when we were eating so he could be at the table with us (hey I'm Italian and we sit at the dinner table a LONG time!). sad though, I have seen the swing be abused and babies spending hours at a time in it....
Glad you like yours!

Clothes manufacturers need to rethink the sizing process lol. I mean come on, with the exception of my daughter who is petite, staying in the same size clothes as her age was, not many kids will do that. I mean she's 6 and she's in a six, Keith is 3 and in a three but when he was 12 months he was in a 24 months size lol.

don't feel too bad about the swing. it's not bad to be able to shit and not hold a baby at the same time! you know how i feel about that! there we go about the poop again! honestly, the swing was the only way ainsley wouldn't puke every five seconds...backasswards i know....but for some reason, the reflux wasn't so bad in the swing. and i wonder why she wants to swing all day in the park now?!

I'm with ya Reet,
Millie Sue slept in the swing for the first 8 months of her life... so she didn't relux herself silly. I love the swing... I wish they made one in my size.

Julian is so fashion forward... sportin' the baby boy thong. Rockin'.

Ah - the swing.

I got so beat down on onesies - the day I put Faith in a bigger t-shirt to run around at home.. it was like a monkey off my back. I was like - why didn't I think of this before?? I don't run around the house with things that snap between my legs. Well..
