More cuteness

Despite the latest development of baby acne, he's still the cutest baby around! (By the way, can I do anything for the acne? It's increasing but still only on his face and how do I know it's acne and not some kind of irritation that I should be eliminating?) SPEAKING of which, I have a boob fungus! DAMN THE BREAST FEEDING! Fungus might be a bit extreme but it is a rash of some sort that is along the side and underneath right where I put my hand to hold it, you know making the little C hold for the cross-cradle position. I don't know if it's from my hand or from the nursing tank tops I've been wearing. You know when you put the flap down to nurse and there is that other fabric part that covers part of your boob that looks a little stripper-esque, sometimes that fabric goes right over my fungus, so maybe it's from that?? Just what I need, and breast feeding was starting to get so much better! Anyway, back to cuteness..

For more of his photos click here. But I'm sure you already have the link bookmarked, right?? RIGHT.

Unrelated news, Kitty Bits is gone. Well not gone, gone. Our lovely friend Rita took her in. It's not ideal, Bryan is very sad about it still which makes me feel sad. She's outta my hair and Bryan can still visit her but still total sadness and guilt. Hopefully Rita remains OK with it after her flesh has been scratched off. She's more patient than I am and is whipping Kitty's ass into shape. Although from our recent update, Kitty sounds pretty pissed which only made Bryan more sad knowing she's not happy. Yet. She'll come around and if not, then we'll welcome her back with open arms. Sort of. But she'll adjust, Rita is a good mama.

He's absolutely adorable, Cara! For baby acne, I always just took a tiny bit of Cetaphil Cleanser and rubbed it into the acne (being sure to stay away from their eyes, of course!). Then I wiped it off with a wet, warm washcloth. It seemed to help but who knows, it could've just been coincidence.

Adorable pictures! I remember that mine had baby acne too. Now that was a long time ago! But, they use to call them milk bumps and all the babies that I have ever known had those "milk bumps". When I worked for a pediatrician for 12 years he use to have parents put cool compresses on their little faces several times a day. Now maybe your pediatrician wouldn't advise that. Cause as you know, times do change!

Keep an eye on that breast rash. I'm currently battling a killer breast infection and one of the first signs was a red rash on your breast. I had no idea! I waited until the rest of my body started shutting down to call the midwives. So if it doesn't go away, or if you start getting a headache or achy all over, call someone right away.

He's such a cutie!

I like the wrap too. The slings never work for me. Maybe the wrap would!

He is too cute - makes want another little one REALLY bad!
Ryan had the acne too - BAD. Nothing you can do for it other than keep it clean. Oh, and NEVER joke to the ped that you are consiering buying him Proactive for it - not knowing me very well yet she thought I was serious!

baby acne tends to clear up or travel to another part of his face/head pretty quickly. if it sticks around for more than 4 or 5 days (in the same spot) you might want to check with your pediatrician.

those are some awesome shots! just to let everyone know, kitty bits is fine. she has been running around like a nut, has left my flesh stay on my hand, and has made buddies with one of the dogs and my husband. it's a bit weird having a younger cat in the house, my other one is 10. i forgot what it was like to be jumped on in the middle of the night by an animal!
