Aww:(

Is goat's milk a viable option for you? I've tried it with only possibly increased fussiness as a result from Pearl. I know J reacts to a lot more stuff, and differently, than Pearl does but once you're to a point where you're adding things to your diet you should give it a shot. I made (and am making again tonight) pizza with goat's cheddar, couldn't even tell it was from a goat. Don't know what I expected, lol.

At any rate, I think it's just incredible all the things you've given up so you can nurse J. I'm really impressed. I know it sucks now but just think of how you'll relish those things once you finally can eat them again! I know I'm planning on eating nothing for dairy products for like two months once I'm able to. Oh, the ice cream I'll eat! I'll be so fat. It'll be great.

Awww, I'm so sorry! I can't even imagine how horrible it must be not to be able to eat all you favorite foods. I'm telling you, I love my kids, but I don't think I could do it. You're a good mama. Be sure to remind J of all this when he's picking out nursing homes!

gee...I wonder why I'm craving pizza right now?!

; )

btw, I bet you're snuggling up with blankets and hot chocolate, right? It's still in the 80's down here...which means it's actually cooling off a bit. Oh well. Enjoy.

You know what really helped me? I know you're going to roll your eyes.. realizing that all this food will still be around when you can have it. I just like to see how long I can go WITHOUT having it. 'cause I don't see the donut places going out of business anytime soon. If they do - I will change my attitude.

In the meantime, if that is really your Christmas list.. I'm hooking you up.

don't worry, girl, it will be sooner than you think that you will be able to eat all that yummy food. Trust me, my baby just turned 2 and he was born, like, yesterday.

good for you for sticking to your diet. Isn't funny how easy it is when someone else's well being depends on your willpower. I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with my daughter and I was never so good about what I ate in my life... all my bad habits have returned!!! Chocolate for breakfast, anyone?

I'm so proud of you too Cara. There are not that many mommy's out there that are so dedicated. I hope that if the same situation arose with my next child, I would follow in
your footsteps. You are truely an example:0)
But do me a favor, don't jump until you take me for some of those gingerbread and pumpkin pancakes. OK HON'?;)XOXOXOXO
